These photos are a few of the earlier prototype vessels that I've previously handbuilt . They are among nine other similar yet all unique stoneware ceramic vessels designed and sculpted to float yet right themselves upright, if rolled over and under any waves.  With a light surface glaze, these fully fired and buoyant stoneware vessels are watertight and have individually gone  through vigorous testing certifying them to be next to unsinkable. Their 1/3 scale size to the finished size of the actual project boats (36" length), allowed me to quickly develop techniques and methods that would yield the positive results that I sought.  Their sails can be trimmed to allow for the best line of tack in a breeze.
